Lianne & Jeremy’s “Moulin” Country Wedding
Posted on 31 March 2017
Lianne and Jeremy planned their wedding with our help from Edmonton and we didn’t actually meet the Bride and Groom until the day of the Wedding, but I can tell you as we laughed often, they
were the most laid back couple I think I have ever worked with and would love all my couples to relax a bit more like them!
Lianne loved the idea of a rustic wedding in an old mill so we found the Moulin Jasmin de Calliere which was perfect as it was approx. 30 mins from where their families lived!
We also worked with a number of local west island vendors, some of which I had been working with now for 9+ years ever since I started my business, so it was like going down memory lane working with them again.
We kept everything natural for the couples wedding with soft white linen’s and napkins… Lianne’s father made some beautiful log pieces which we then stood lanterns on decorated in gold with the table number and surrounded by greenery and orange flowers.
The Signage was also made out of pieces of wood as well as the Guest Signing Book, the couple also made their table plan which showed a picture of the two of them at their high school prom which was very cute.
The couple even had a great “Mr & Mrs” sign which we placed on the sweetheart table again out of logs of wood which I loved! Later in the evening they turned them over so that they read “Thank You” – great idea!!
The cake was rustic in style, again with flowers decorating and later in the evening the couple created a popcorn bar out of pumpkins!
