Julie & Gina
“Working with Rachel at An English Rose was one of the most important and smartest decisions we made in regards to our special day. Not only is Rachel’s attention to detail flawless but her understanding and expertise was priceless. Throughout the entire process Rachel was attentive, understanding, professional, trustworthy and a delight to work with. Lastly, we walked away with incredible memories of our wedding day and made a lifelong friend in the process.”
The Planning Story
Although Julie and Gina were from NY State, I was lucky enough to meet with them a couple of times before the big day to plan everything with them. They were looking for An Old Montreal wedding with lots of History and Character, which is what they achieved at the Auberge du Vieux Port right on the Waterfront. With it’s old stone walls and cellar style restaurant we had a very intimate setting for them and their friends who all came in from the US. It was important to Gina to have religious elements to the ceremony which we did and Julie chose the soft lilac colours – but I must stay that it was their son Graham who stole the evening with some great speeches!!
